Salmon Head (big size) with Tamarind

Runtime: 8m 5s | Views: 1146 | Comments: 0
A recipe made especially for Salmon Heads. It's actually a soup if you add more water. Best if you eat it with plain rice. Some eat it just the plain head. You could eat practically anything on this salmon head except ofcourse the bones. My favorite is the eyes and the jaws. Tamarind is a fruit of a tree that grows only in tropical countries in asia. We usually boil it then mash it then strain it directly to the fish. Tamarinds (raw and powder) and Salmon heads can be bought at your local "Asian" grocery stores or "Asian" super markets. It's about time for you to know what part in your location has an Asian Grocery Store. I've been to different parts of the United States and I haven't tasted any salmon dish that tasted good enough. This Tamarind recipe is actually applicable to all types of fish especially heads of fishes (big ones) and Salmon head taste the best in this recipe...
