Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie { Baking for Tyra }

Runtime: 3m 52s | Views: 3090 | Comments: 0
Graham cracker crust: 1 packages graham crackers {I like the chocolate ones, but the regular ones are fine} {I sometimes use the food processor to grind them, but it also can be done with a rolling pin and a big ziplock bag} 1/4 cup sugar 6 tablespoons butter, melted {I use the microwave to melt} Mix cracker crumbs and sugar and dump into pie pan. Add the butter and mix. Use a cup to evenly flatten the mixture on the bottom and sides of pan. Put the pie pan in the fridge to set up while mixing the filling. {{Note: I have recently reduced the butter in this recipe below to only one stick and I think it is better}} Filling: 1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell 2 large eggs 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon of salt if using unsalted butter 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened. 1 cup (6 oz.) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Directions: PREHEAT oven to 325° F. Make crust and put the pie pan in the fridge while mixing the filling. BEAT eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar and vanilla. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spoon into pie shell. BAKE for 55 to 65 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Have a panty party with Tyra Banks :) Tyra said "Oh Frank it is like a party in my mouth" and "Ride em cowboy".

Nestle Toll House Stars and Stripes Cookies

1 (18 ounce) package Nestle Toll House Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1/3 cup granulated sugar
20 fresh medium strawberries, sliced
3/4 cup fresh blueberries
2 tablespoons Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Roll cookie dough to 1/4-inch thickness between two pieces of wax paper. Remove top piece of paper. Cut cookie dough into stars with 3-inch star cookie cutter. Transfer cookies to ungreased baking sheet. If stars have softened and are too difficult to remove from wax paper, refrigerate stars for 10 minutes. Roll remaining dough to 1/4-inch thickness; cut out additional stars.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. While hot, reshape and pat edges of each star back into shape with knife. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.

Beat cream cheese and sugar in small mixer bowl until fluffy. Spread onto cooled cookies. Place strawberry slices onto each cookie pointing outward. Place 5 to 6 blueberries in center of each cookie. Top with mini-morsels.

Makes about 20 cookies.
